「よむよむ展」

上野の森美術館ギャラリーで収蔵作品展が開催されます。本展は「絵を読む」をテーマに7点の作品を展示し、来場者は各作品を一つずつ解釈することで、より深い探求を体験できる構成となっております。自作は2017年に収蔵された「アヌンナキ（木製パネル、油彩、テンペラ/1303×1620mm）」が展示されます。お会いできることを楽しみにしています。
9/19（土）には特別イベント、ギャラリートークとワークショップを行いますのでぜひご参加ください。私は自分の作品の前での解説や皆様の質問にお答えするほか、ワークショップにも参加いたします。ご都合がよろしければお立ち寄りください。

また同じ会期で、フィギュア第二弾の国内発表を記念した作品展を銀座の秋華洞で開催いたします。好評を頂いた昨年に引き続き、マニラで制作販売したフィギュアを新作を含む絵画とともに展示いたします。合わせてご覧頂ければ幸いです。

上野の森美術館の所蔵作品を紹介する「よむよむ展」は、”絵をよむ”をテーマに、作品に何が描かれているのかをじっくり読み解いてみることを目的とした展覧会です。本展では生き物や場面が描かれた印象的な作品を展示し、絵に込められたコンセプトやメッセージを作家のコメントをもとに紹介します。

The “Yomu-yomu （Read）Exhibition” – Ueno Royal Museum Gallery

An exhibition of works from the museum’s collection is coming to the Ueno Royal Museum Gallery. Centered around the theme of “Reading Paintings,” this exhibition features seven works, inviting visitors to experience a deeper exploration of each piece by interpreting them one by one. My work, “Anunnaki” (oil and tempera on wooden panel, 1303 × 1620 mm), acquired by the museum in 2017, will be on display. Hope to see you there!

Special Event on Saturday, September 19th, 2026: Join us for a gallery talk and workshop! I will be providing commentary in front of my artwork, answering your questions, and leading/participating in the workshop. Please stop by if you can.

During the same period, I will also host an exhibition at Shukado in Ginza, Tokyo, celebrating the Japan launch of my second art statuette series. Following last year’s successful event, statuettes produced and sold in Manila, Philippines will be displayed alongside paintings, including my latest works. I hope you can check out both exhibitions.

The “Yomu-yomu (Read) Exhibition,” which introduces works from the collection of The Ueno Royal Museum, is themed around “Reading Paintings” and aims to carefully interpret what is depicted in each piece. The exhibition features striking works depicting creatures and scenes, revealing the underlying concepts and messages accompanied by comments from the artists.
